Like Pinsir should have at least one physical bug move with 70+ power and one special with 70+ power.

This should apply to everything that isn't a gimmickmon (like Wobbuffet).

but otherwise yeah I agree, all mons should get at minimum one attacking move for their STAB types via level up, per attack category (physical/special) so every mon is at least usable in a playthrough regardless of what TMs are available

I think movepools should make sense. Power Gem does make sense for Aurorus in my opinion. Only times where it shouldn't make sense is if it's funny, like Iron Tail Primeape or Psyshock Great Tusk (Though I'm sure the latter was an error)

Given as to how Hisuian Arcanine, Garchomp, and Tyranitar have it, Aurorus should've had it from the start, but knowing Game Freak they'd pull some shitty excuse that will be defended by Poketubers with the "and that's a good thing, here's why" cuck logic.

if your mon's identity is so weak that simply having some gameplay and story integration by giving it a new move or ability or stat buff that makes perfect sense for its design and lore somehow "turns it into another mon" then it deserves to have that "identity" replaced, assuming it had one in the first place
