Reddit's rules regarding offensive speech are generally quite permissive, there's a lot of swearing and crudeness and the like allowed on even the largest and most popular boards on Reddit. In real life, and especially in polite company, the rules are much more strict as far as what is and isn't appropriate is concerned. Reddit is by no means extreme when it comes to etiquette. However, you obviously spend too much time here on 4chan, where there isn't any etiquette at all or any penalty for being rude and obnoxious. This has unfortunately led you to believe that you can speak like that anywhere, and that if anyone has a problem with that, they're just being too sensitive, or you accuse them of being mentally ill. This is not the case. You are in the wrong. You are rude and unpleasant and there are less and less places, online and offline, that are prepared to tolerate your behaviour. If you don't like being banned and muted, you need to learn how to talk in a civil manner, or how to be quiet.
