>>57749983"Great Value Kanto" is definitely what id describe Unova as since I often prefer a lot from the Unova side to the ones in Kanto, and honestly its a good thing that I have a lot that I like from both sides and while they fill in for similar roles they are their own characteristic animals, for example Leavanny is a leaf insect, Scolipede is a centipede, Trubbish is physical waste, Swanna is a Swan (duh), Ammonguss is a fungus, Chandelure is a chandelier for those that like objectmons like me, Hydreigon is another Kaijumon reference being King ghidorah
Essentially what im trying to say is, there's very little overlap in what inspirations they take despite the similar roles
