>>57752838>Even they knew it was getting stupidOkay, but that doesn't change the fact it literally costed them nothing to add the Pokemon, AND they also introduced numerous Pokemon over time with patches in both dexcut games(but DID NOT BRING THEM ALL BACK,) so what's even the point?
>they stopped pushing the sloganThat slogan was West-only and stopped with Gen 2.
There was 251 Pokemon, it was completely reasonable to be able to acquire all of them, and they stopped using it.
You cannot use the fact they stopped using the slogan as "proof" that they realized it was stupid, because it stopped very early.
>when they were using PNG's to display the pokémonThey weren't using PNGs, but technical side aside, they also redrew (almost) all of the Pokemon for each generation.
Remind me, what do they do with the models each generation? I don't recall them remodeling every Pokemon each generation.
They didn't remodel ONCE(Pikachu not withstanding, who DID receive a throat out of all things in Sword and Shield,) even for Scarlet and Violet(though they did improve the textures and animations for many, which IS a good change. I'm not going to deny that.)
>but since they're objects now and they need to actually model EVERYTHING they want to display AND add pokémonYou mean reusing the models, like is standard in any game series ever? This is a false dichotomy. It took them nothing to support the Pokemon in the past, and again, no one would've complained if ONLY the Pokemon actually featured in the game saw improvements.
>the industry came out in support of the dexcutThe industry has been in the race for the bottom for 8 years by the time the dexcut happened, so this is a terrible point to try to make. This doesn't support them at all.
I should also mention I literally don't recall this at all, and looking it up shows me nothing.
>Name 10 thenIt would help immensely if you added line breaks, because I genuinely can't tell what you're asking me to name 10 of.
