>>57767390Yes it puts more emphasis on the story than the other games before it, but the story is not particularly good. BW was the first games where you were kind of forced to acknowledge it instead of dismissing it easily and just doing your own thing like it previous games. For example BW got THREE rivals all asking for you to sympathize with them and none who you just beat the shit out of and have a good time. And it absolutely came on the cost of other aspects such as freedom of exploration.
SM is BW on steroids in that regard.
