you instead now have a glider item and having pals that previously were used as gliders in your team gives you a bonus while using that glider item, but you are not using the pals themselves as gliders anymore. effectively the feature still exists gameplay wise but they were forced to design around the stupid patent bullshit. frankly flying on a glider is 100 times more boring than on a jet plane dragon. fuck nintendo. whats next, patenting gliders entirely because you do that in botw?
I dont even care about palworld as a game, I just want them to thrive because its essentially a way to get some more nice art with different flavour than standard pokemon to browse. no idea why the situation has to be so hostile
