1. more unevolved mons that anyone else here which makes him look pathetic (at least Diamond's Munchlax was like his pet or something so you could say he has a sentimental attachment to it and doesn't want it to evolve, can't say the same for fucking Diglett and Buizel)
2. Feels like too many of them were just handed to him
3. Chatot is a shitty character taken in itself because 90% of its dialogue is just more Platinum wank, like repeating shit like "Protect Lady! ! ! Protect! ! !" over and over. It's like a mouthpiece telling you to like Platinum
I guess there's kind of a theme there of fast mons + Chatot representing him not shutting the fuck up but it doesn't seem super strong.
>DiamondHe's my least hated of the three, probably, and his team isn't bad. They all seem like bulky + slow mons that can be powerful, some of whom are also into eating, so it matches his personality but in a non-pathetic way. The Munchlax is more like how I'd prefer to see NFE mons in these teams, like you can understand WHY it's unevolved (it's his pet) and it doesn't just feel Kusaka never got around to writing it evolving.
I like this team actually; super respectable for a protagonist which is kinda rare for this series (usually the secondary rivals/colunterparts have better ones).
>PlatinumI hate Platinum as a character more than life itself but she also has a good team. Diamond's is probably better thematically but her choice in mons matches more with my taste. Feminine or cute mons, some with kind of a high-class vibe. They're nice to look at as a group too. I can give Platinum credit where it's due
