Palworld is now hard patching out gliding on creatures and switching to a generic glider thanks to the lawsuit.

Pocketpair are using the lawsuit as a scapegoat to ditch this game like they do all their other projects. Pocketpair makes ripoffs of other popular games to make a quick buck and Palworld was supposed to be exactly that but it blew up bigger than they could ever imagine and now they have rabid fans expecting more and more content from them when they normally would have abandoned ship after release. Now that they have their scapegoat, they can ditch the game like they wanted to and have a convenient excuse to disappear into the void making another vaporware game.

They were also trying to sell the entire studio and went on several news outlets to tell that they are open to the idea, but in the end no one did because they all know this was a time bomb. The DLC was also just more of the same and nothing interesting added.

Tl;dr Palworld is just another early access scam that was meant to be abandoned like Craftopia and all of their other games

Most likely my own hunch but now that it's over (even after it takes the dust to settle), but there will be a lot of people who will hate Pokemon, Dragon Quest, Palworld, Zelda, ARK and God knows how many have been compared to Pokemon, past, present and future solely for this.
