>>57778641>Palworld is better than Pokemon in damn near every way. They are barely comparable as games because they're two different genres aiming for two different audiences. It's only due to the creature design that Palworld started fishing into Pokemon's fanbase. Whether this was intentional or not can only be mere speculation. This is like trying to say Super Mario Galaxy is better than Halo despite the two being nothing alike, and perpetuate fanbase war threads like this are only made by insecure autists who associate their entire identity with the brand (slop or otherwise) they consume.
Ultimately, none of this matters. Palworld made its foothold, and will continue to produce Palworld brand merchandise until the company either retires or is beheaded because they know how big of a money maker it is now (notice how Nintendo only went full legal eagle on them the minute they started producing merchandise). The game itself was released, and the death of the company will mean nothing because its fanbase will pick up the slack; for every removed/modified feature, a mod was created not even a few days later to re-implement it. And as the game's files are saved locally on users' PCs, even removal from the Steam store will not kill it. The damage is done, Palworld is never going away, and Nintendo is merely making an attempt as good a cleanup as they can do.
In a perfect world, Palworld and Pokemon could co-exist. We could also get good Pokemon games, too, which hasn't happened for over a decade but I digress.
I have no stake on either side, but posts like
