You know, just like most, if not all Gen 7 pokémon made it to Gen 8 to allow them to be used in a game that didn't try and melt the unit it ran on, every time it got booted up? Odds are, Gen 10's going to include a lock of L: Z-A pokémon (including the monkeys' patrat line and Furfrou), because that's how they've been handling Generation jumps since Gen 8, including backwards 'mon compatibility for the first time in series history allowing old shit caught new to go back to older games or shit transferred up to go back (been using all my Gen 8 games to edit some Gen 9 pokés, including evolving my shiny Ursaring from Violet in L: A). This isn't "Enter the Gungeon", shit persists even after it doesn't appear in a game or two.

This is also partially why dexit happened, give shitmon dupes a chance to be an option, rather than being utterly ignored (as no cunt would play the school plot to get Persian, but lots did to get a Steely Spirit Raidcat for endgame).

There is no such thing as Dexit. As soon as a new generation of games is released, none of the old games will ever be capable of containing all the Pokemon that exist. As soon as Gold and Silver came out, my "complete" save files became worthless and obsolete. You have always only ever been able to maintain a complete collection of Pokemon on specific software - it used to be that that software was just the newest main series Pokemon game, now it is Pokemon Home. Nothing has changed, no Pokemon have been removed or rendered inaccessible. They are, as they have always been, confined to the software that supports them.

Don't even need Home either, but the point of the DLC is offer people content they'll buy and play, unlike "buy the same game again with minimal differences to the one you played before!", the added pokémon are to inhabit those areas, not have JUST the same base game pokémon only.

It's ONLY when they realized making PLA was a risk that could result in a poor fiscal year due to being so different from anything prior, that GameFreak hastily commissioned ILCA and threw Masuda at them so they could shit out BDSP to occupy the holiday release slot, giving them a safety net to continue experimentation.
Only reason LZA doesn't require this is because the novelty of real time battles is enough to get EVERYONE buying, because it's a concept every single normalfag jizzes themselves over when thinking about their "perfect Pokemon game" especially after SV fulfilled the open world part.

These lads aren't in L: A. In fact, it would break the lore of the games if they were, because they only show up in post-game areas of DPPt and the post-game area of DPPt is an active volcano field with a Noble Pokémon arena.
So not only are these BDSP-locked shitters, there's also a bunch of 'mons from Unova that are in neither game (because they weren't created when DPPt was developed).
