Yeah I'm gonna rant again. Why. JUST WHYYYYYYY!!! This discussion also includes Mega Mawile, but she wouldn't fit my team. But Mega Sableye and Mega Lopunny both would, it's the perfect team and I can't make it.

I really hate base Salamence so it’s a low bar lol. It was my least favorite pseudo until Baxcalibur. Stupid thing just looks so toy-like, its colors are way too bright and the limbs are horribly stubby to the point that I don’t know how it’s supposed to walk. I also just dislike red and blue as a color scheme (part of why I dislike a lot of gen 4), especially when the red is brighter than the blue
I could go on but I won’t, I know it’s an unpopular opinion and I should probably leave it at that haha

I still don’t really care for Mega Salamence, but I think it easily clears the base form if only for making the face and wings look a bit less awkward

Actually terrible. Baxcalibur-tier bad, even by Paradox standards.

Looking at its fucking colors hurts my eyes. Whoever decided to add YELLOW AND BLACK to an already-contrasting scheme like red and blue should’ve been fucking fired.

Aside from the usual Paradox problem of being OP clones of better designs, someone must have been retarded or high to approve the individual feathers on each wing. For what reason do those exist? They’re as big as the damn thing’s forearms and clearly don’t serve a purpose. All they do is muddy the silhouette and add more contrast where none was needed.

The only decent idea here was the scale helmet, and Bagon already did that better. At least that fucker made it into a cool pompadour instead of some lame professional biking helmet like Roaring Moon.

In short: Centro is a nigger, but Roaring Moon is no better.

I think they were going for some kind of chainsaw thing, especially since it can tuck those spikes away according to in-game animations, but they just did nothing else with the design and it’s such a goofy concept to begin with that it really doesn’t work

Yeah, it could’ve been so cool, sharpedo’s design really had the potential to be all sort of things as a mega (different type of shark? A larger bullet?) but instead we’re left with… whatever the fuck this is. Looks like some nasty snout infection or barnacles with scars on top of the barnacles. Honestly not sure how to make sense of it
