We're shown in FRLG she goes to the Seviis to protect them after TR tries to stage a comeback on the archipelago. Given they state the events of Gen 1 and 3 canonically occur around the same time as each other, it's clear they inferred Lorelei in Gen 1 went home to protect the islands after the TR plot there.

If Lorelei was the Indigo Champion what would her 6th Pokemon have been? She already uses all the Ice types (Except Arcticuno) plus a Slowbro.
Her 6th Pokemon would've had to have been another Water type. We can exclude Starmie and Blastoise since those are the aces of Misty and Blue.
In my opinion it would be Gyrados or Golduck.

Being the Champion of Gen 1 would've been a huge popularity boost. Not just fandom wise but also within Gamefreak/Pokemon Company themselves. With how much Gamefreak likes Kanto.

There's a full-art Asian version of this, but it never made it to the West, perhaps due to her lack of popularity. In any case, there's no card where she's the main character alone, or with her Pokémon. Lorelei needs to boost her popularity somehow by making her more relevant in the series.

Far Left is clearly the designers not knowing how to design an Ice type trainer because it's only Gen 1.

Far Right is a refined version of the original. Setting up the later redesigns.

Left is first redesign. This design emphasizes her Sevii Island heritage.

Middle is the most recent version. Taking the original design and making it more ice themed.

Right looks like a sailor moon reject.

Without a doubt, the anime version is the one I like the most of all, that cleavage and size was epic as ivy, then FRLG and then LGPE, finally the original, which I find very sober, and the unknown manga.
