>>57801201>portable SNES and an overpriced game for it>in the era of the PS2Sorry, I was proudly part of the 160m peeps who ended up with one the boxes. Because one got bought as a college present for me, the other I'd have to buy myself, as as a poor broke college student, that kinda made the difference. When I stopped being a jobless, I got a DS then picked up Diamond but after being unable to buy legit copies of Gen 3 by late '08, I stopped trying to get legit copies of Gen 3 games.
Just because I enjoy the kiddy slop, does not mean I'll blindly buy the system it appears on and no more. Got a Game Boy in '91 and 8 years' use and games out of it before, had a stack of DS games I sold most of to fund a trip to Australia, The 3DS was the closest to and even then, I bought it for Zelda, knowing Pokémon would launch on it and ended up getting more free Zelda games after the WW price drop, so it wasn't a total bust. I had ten Switch games by the time LGPE launched and even then have a large chunk of non-pokémon gametime on top of my thousands of hours on pokémon.
