So corrupt that a mafia boss who takes over their largest city gets to to do money laundry as a gym leader. Their police is utterly powerless. Region is so dangerous that their champion lives in Blackthorne. Clearly votes Blue, but growing increasingly frustrated with the results.

Clearly rural and suburban poor historical backwater without any infrastructure. Overregulated at every possible instance to stop development. Reddest region of all and their citizens are looked down upon as valley folk, but slowly being taken over by Kantoflighters.

Clearly the only functional region of them all, serves as a maritime hub with constant commercial activity and vibrant nature. Great for tourism. Shores vote Blue, but inner cities vote Red. Battleground state.

Industrial left behind dust belt region of depressed miners and factories. High rate of unemployment and homelessness, but still low crime. Clearly votes Red out of frustration, but used to vote Blue.

Globalized urban hellish environment where random political activists paid by the rich and the academics can hijack economic and Pokémon activity over their petty ideologies. Produces nothing, consumes the most. Bluest region of them all, despite being the richest.
