>Dragon’s Den Elder Maybe the old coot keeps her training and ferocious dragons a secret, or maybe some of the dragons living in Dragon’s Den are here and can be called upon when she wants.
>Battle Pyramid King Brandon Not only a top tier strategist, he’s one of if not the most knowledgeable trainer in the world when it comes to secrets the ancients held, and the access to legendaries that knowing such rare, nice knowledge grants him. Brandon doesn’t want generations of novice trainers mucking around ancient ruins and causing damage, so he must keep his legendaries a secret.
>Riley of Iron IslandNot only is he “muh Aura Guardian,” but he’s got main character energy and yet holds back a bit. In Platinum he’s got multiple pseudos, and that’s not including Ursaring which would become an Ursaluna later on. He probably has gotten the “enlightenment” most trainers seek with their Pokemon, and chills out, not wanting to be a superstar in the spotlight, but instead wants to nurture other trainers. Later on in life I‘d bet he heads up a secret society of trainers who passed his tests, so to speak.
>AlderIt’s very likely he’s the first hero from Legends Arceus (I heard from yuppy youtuber he speaks overly formal Japanese, hinting he spent time in the past but I’m only so much of a weeb)
>Trainer AZHe’s functionally immortal, has the forbidden knowledge of the ancients and fiercely loves Pokémon. This love of Pokémon is needed not just to keep him from going insane with grief, but also because he feels the need for redemption if he ever meets his Florges again. He’s likely built teams dozens of times over and knows how to maximize every Pokémon’s potential and could likely be the father of Pokémon Battle Theory, being a sharp mind with near infinite time.
