XY Ash and Serena were restricted by wrong type of personality. Ash never meant to be a cool ikemen and Serena never meant to be an insecure simp. Hopefully Pokeani will fix that in the future. I say Serena's personality from JN remains the same but Ash goes back to being the old Ash (OS-DP) who treats her the same way he treated May while Serena remain level headed interacting with him instead of turning spaghetti in front of him and openly make her move on him without feeling any self doubt & insecurities.
