In SwSh/ScaVi, unlike items like the Reveal Glass that will simply change a variable about the Pokemon to alter its form, the Reigns of Unity will fuse only 1 Calyrex with a Glastrier/Spectrier at a time. If you have Calyrex A fused into Shadow Rider, you cannot take Calyrex B with a different Spectrier or Glastrier and create another Shadow Rider or Ice Rider.
This sucks if you want to have multiple battle teams on your cart that use different Calyrex. Swapping between the two manually also blows as their signature form moves, Astrial Barrage/ Glacial Lance are lost between form changes, like Rotom's form changes, and therefor won't save the PP Ups you give it.

We joke but this was (and arguably still is) true. Gamefreak only had 54 employees in 2007 and today they have 207. And not all employees are working on the game to the actual number of people designing the games is much smaller.

Compare this to Breath of the Wild and it's 300 strong development team. You truly begin to understand the low quality of later Pokemon games and how retarded Gamefreak is.

Or do you seriously think turning to teens and adults only will give the return on the WHOLE franchise their current M.O. generates? Nintendo don't give a fuck, they get paid regardless, Game Freak don't give a fuck, they have an army of kids and adults happy to play and TPC's job is to market the brand at normal cunts, the kind who don't even finish a video game, but still give the series $60 a year regardless, so they're irrelevant as an opinion. I think on some level Nintendo does give a fuck, the "it sells regardless" mentality really just doesn't vibe with Nintendo's design philosophy. (If it did we'd have Mario Odyssey 2 by now.)

But trying to order Gamefreak around and force things on them is just going to rock the boat. (Not in terms of sales or anything but in corporate relations.) It would be really bad press if there was definitive proof that Nintendo and Gamefreak were beefing with each other.

At the end of the day Gamefreak is an independent private company that completely owns the Pokemon IP (Some stuff is shared with Nintendo, it's complicated.).
They don't have any parent company or shareholders to answer to.
