As for what I think it'll contain.

Approx 20 minutes.
15 minutes mostly just mobile shit (Go, Cafe Remix, Master Sex, new set for TCG Pocket etc.)
The last 5 to PLZA, Champions and MAYBE something actually interesting like a new spin off or something.

They're not wasting marketing tat for the WHOLE of the 30th anniversary capped off by Gen 10's release by revelaing it early (thereby imp[acting L: Z-A's performance).
Just because you salty faggots "dun liek it" and "wunt it to fial" does not mean Game Freak are going to share your mindset (if they wanted it to fail, they'd have released it last year with hints to a special, better version with the next console era, so no-one'd buy it until S2).

Tbf, the hack gave us a basic idea to expound upon for gen 10, we didn't have that back in 2021.Knowing it's basically an island hopping adventure gives us a starting point for game structure and countries for a potential setting.

Also, the leaks indicating there are no new mons, only megas, turned a lot of people off the game because contrary to some of the more insistent posters of this board, not everyone likes megas.

The very fact Nintendo asked them to provide an upgrade for L: Z-A and the release of L: Z-A was delayed when Nintendo delayed the Switch 2 proves they very much do care about its performance. They didn't stick it out to die on Switch, when every retard and their brother were waiting for Switch 2, they won't then destroy the *actual* series debut on Switch 2, as L: Z-A is a game developed for Switch 1, by revealing any news about that early (Pokémon day is still 9 months away).

Still had a month after release to sell, no reason to even mention the next, more substantial game until after ZA launches in October. Gen 10 will be announced on Pokémon Day, no doubt about it, and anyone who's hoping for it to be announced earlier is setting themselves up for disappointment that, for once, isn't GF's fault.

It had 11 months to sell anon. Only povvos who needed to save $60 over the course of a year to afford one game were unable to afford it. In the first world, people had no issue affording it, as evidenced by it breaking the record for fastest-selling Switch game with 6.5m in its first three days (besting SS' 6m sales marque). It did its job as Game Freak intended however, 8-figure sales and a bridge game between SS' DLC and SV.
