I wonder if it would be difficult to mod it, I would be willing to help fund it or something. Wouldn't even mind if it was just a copy-paste from XY but on Brendan and May bases

Just from the girl, the guy has way less, but if it was a mod it could be made equal, the chibis probably would be easy, it's the cinematic parts that would be harder, these games are known for having extremely detailed models, besides 3DS emulation being still a growing thing, but with the Teraleak, who knows?

I'd be fine with a compromise, no Battle Frontier but we get one of the Frontier Brains back, probably Anabel since she commands the Battle Tower which was in the original Ruby and Sapphire, reusing the Chatelaines was the final nail in the coffin (even if technically it wasn't the first time it happened, Gen 4's remakes adopted Gen 4's battle facility instead of its own, although Hoenn already had an established battle facility so it's not quite the same scenario)

The worst part is they don't even have a unique battle location, it reuses the Battle Chateau and gives you a whopping four songs to use.

Best we got is the busty mod that gets spammed in /maygen/ every now and then. Those attempt to bring May's original outfit back as well as a color swap for the manga fans.
The ribbon on May is particularly difficult for some reason, something about the game always requiring them to be there.

Also is ridiculous that you must choice everything by text and not visually like GTA SA. How har it is to change like 64 pixels? Did it really need to take one minute to change a hair and black out the screen?

If there is one thing I learned after all those years of playing Pokemon is that Gamefreak is garbage at UI designing, and it shows up the worst in customization, hairstyles not having previous is one of them, every color choice of a single article of clothing being a separate slot instead of a sub-menu is the one that annoys me the most
