>>57856589Japanese usually have better texture on special cards, that in SV era means just the SAR/SIR. In the past (especially V cards) this was much more noticeable, now English have gotten slightly better and JP slightly worse, but the difference is still there.
Jap also have better quality control in general, meaning less off-center and misprints, and higher chance for PSA10.
Other than quality, English is usually more sought after because of people not being able to read moonrunes, and also the west has trillions more people swarming stores like apes, so the English market price is higher than Japanese.
Only exceptions are cards that are promos in English but not in Japanese, or any card that features an underage girl (Japanese waifu cards cost MUCH more than English).
