If Horizons were to end on April next year (according to some leakers), what could that mean for Gen 10? Would July’s Pokemon Presents announce Gaia and release it on Pokemon Day (making it 9 months of marketing), or would Gaia be announced on Pokemon Day per usual and we’ll get a filler anime to hold us over until November 2026? What do you think?

The anime is there for exposure for merch and shit. Scrambling a filler anime that won't even last a full year instead of just sticking to the story schedule with timed tie-ins is just fucking stupid and spreads the working hands thin between two different works

There is no way Gen 10 game will be released before October or December which mean new anime has start on around November 2026 or April 2027.

What's gonna happen is what happened when Game Freak had to delay GS and DP - the anime will bullshit up a 6-10 month bullshit filler arc, to ensure the entire franchise is re-shuffled and reset to move as one again when Gen 10 gets released.
I don't give a fuck what low IQ paint-huffers think, game's not coming until Oct/Nov next year, meaning the new anine isn't starting until after that (because they didn't start Liko's shit until april '23 after all and are suddenly assuming a two year arc rather than the usual three?).
