>>57867609>every single boss fight is easy as piss and worse than almost every game before and after itLenora is one of those bosses where if you let her snowball you're just fucked, Elesa is reasonably difficult, Clay has an actually good Pokemon, Ghetsis is a solid big number boss. While they're of lower quality than Gen 7, that's about as many decent bosses as that game, which is an extreme outlier as far as Pokemon games go. What else is there, Sabrina being OP in Gen 1? Whitney being another snowball boss? Emerald being reasonable most of the time? Cynthia being a level gap boss to make up for DP's lack of AI that works? This isn't even getting into the optional post-game fights like the harder Elite 4 that's usually reserved for third versions (coincidentally another thing Gen 7 does) plus another Cynthia fight for some reason.
>So does ORAS by your smoothbrained logicORAS doesn't do enough to differentiate the gameplay compared to B2W2. Shit like the restaurants aren't different enough from the Battle Institute, Inverse Battle Stop is neat but is about as interesting as any one given Type Expert tournament but also doesn't go far enough with the concept, and there's not really anything approaching the variety of previous BFs. Compare that to Black Tower/White Treehollow providing the same type of experience as Trainer Tower/Battle Pyramid, PWT being a sort of Battle Dome/Battle Hall experience with a rental mode like the Battle Factory, and Pokestar Studios being an interesting puzzle solving thing that most closely resembles the Battle Sims from Gale of Darkness. This also doesn't get into the quality of any of these, as if we do then ORAS has even less going for it because the Battle Maison has such exploitable AI that almost every format can become mash A easy extremely trivially. B2W2 had one for singles but funnily enough Dream World being fucking dead genuinely improves it.
