My Johto adventure begins with receiving a Chikorita from Professor Birch. While it’s not the strongest choice, I accept the challenge and commit to making the most of it. With my new partner by my side, I set off toward Violet City. Along the way, I build up my team—catching a watchful Hoothoot, a sturdy Geodude, a sneaky Spinarak, and a determined Bellsprout. I spend what feels like an eternity scouring Dark Cave for a rare Dunsparce, but persistence pays off, and I finally catch one. Upon reaching Violet City, my luck continues as I manage to catch a Mareep to round out my growing squad. Now, with a diverse team and fresh resolve, I prepare to take on my first Gym Leader tomorrow. A new region, a new team, and a second chance at greatness. Johto, let’s see what you’ve got.
