Never mind then having to concentrate assets and oversight on Nintendo as a console manufacturer and development endeavour, because their business WASN'T Pokémon, they just owned keys to it and a piece of the pie and would undoubtedly want to continue to pursue their already-established IP's and seek to develop new ones. Thirdly, they'd know rightly regardless how mean you consider them all, they're ALL there to be made money off. Fuck, they'd likely do a fucking Mickey collab, where Maushold meets the oldest Mickey they still hold image rights on to announce the fucking brand to their drones.
Ignoring of course Japanese business law's set up to forbid any foreign entities buying ownership of "culturally significant" Japanese endeavours, meaning Disney'd be unable to actually do any of that.
