Shiny/Alpha hunt boxes full of your favorite Pokemon and level them up to 100/max their stats. I feel sorry for anyone who didn't get a chance to abuse the dupe glitch. Truly sorry. It made the game so much more fun..

This. Make sure you buy everything in the game you can. Every cosmetic item, donate to the restoration project in Kitakami, and collect all of the legendary key items/exclusive cosmetics from the flea market. Beyond that the money's not great for much since you're handed pretty much everything you need to train a pokemon or shiny hunt from high end tera raids.
