It doesn't stop there, Valiant is a piece of shit that's impossible to properly predict, energy booster is retarded and there's so many other problems that affect the generation and are typically made worse by the big 3 issues.
>>57883430It's the most balanced gen that fits just in the right spot, lack of phys/spec split sucks since so many Pokemon are useless due to it, but it's not too stally, it's not retarded ungabunga scheisse like gen 4 and above, it just fits into this nice niche spot, you can even find some really weak mons like Butterfree seeing niche play in OU because accurate sleep is just that valuable, gen 3 OU is like the wild west of comp, it's pretty set in stone by now since the frontiers have been conquered as it were, but you still see and can do some wild shit yourself without throwing away the match, this is in part helped because ADV has a bunch of staples you'll always see in one form or another, as long as you can reliably handle them you got yourself a solid team.
I also just so happen to be a retard who really loves Charizard and seeing my boy being a good mon in OU without having to deal with sneaky pebbles makes me happy, this is true for a ton of other Pokemon that got raped by them existing.
