Is it just me or 6v6 singles is nothing but stall faggotry? It's not interesting to slowly chip your opponents health while spamming protect and healing moves. Not surprised this shit doesn't fly in official formats

Stall is nowhere near it's level of past power, recovery moves being nerfed to 5(8)PP limits how long they can stall.

If you can just some accurate predictions it's easy to PP stall them and render them vulnerable.

It's a sad fact that meta leans towards reliable and predictable. This means stalls annoyingly slow gameplay offers one of the most reliable ways to win.

Personally why I stopped playing showdown. Getting into a match against stall, even if I have a counter for it, was just not worth the risk of running into. Life is too short to smash my face against my keyboard for 40 turns, and surrendering to avoid it just rewards the playstyle. Better to play other games.

Yes. I have no intention of becoming pro at pokemon, so why would I play it when I'm not enjoying it? I'm happy that you find the game stimulating though, different strokes for different folks.
