I had to go to town to get a monitor with 2.0 support, because the dock and Switch connected would not register (for what it's worth, even breaking down the S2 dock to its components and plugging the socket into a S1 won't read it. They made a deliberate decision to NOT support the system even if they continued support for the software, meaning they didn't need to adhere to the S1 standards).
