The point is BW unlocks new areas and content after the credits — Eastern Unova, N's Castle, Cynthia, Alder, more old Pokémon, etc. That’s structured post-game, not just unfinished content.
Ghetsis’s Hydreigon was considered tough for first-time players. It's a level 54 pseudo-legendary with coverage most teams weren't ready for, showing up before you have many reliable counters. If it didn’t give you trouble, cool — but it definitely did for a lot of players.
As for the story, you don’t have to love it, but BW was the first time the series tackled morally gray ideas. N and Ghetsis actually had character arcs. If you think the execution wasn’t great, fair enough — but compared to something like Team Flare's paper-thin motives, it still stands out for at least trying something deeper.
