There's another problem with HorAIzons. They marketed it as dual protagonists yet Liko is the clear lead. Unlike Ash & Goh in Journeys where they're each doing their own thing, the story in HorAIzons centers around Liko. Roy feels less like Goh in Journeys and more like Lillie in Sun & Moon.

She's not just bad at battling. She's worse than KANTO ASH. The dude that only beat 3 out of the 8 Gym Leaders, got 4 badges out of pity and the other because the Gym Leader was absent. Liko is worse than THAT. And Roy/Dot are so trash that they make Max from Hoenn look like XY Ash by comparison.
