Hoenn has long twirling routes, deserts, a town made from tree forts, underwater areas and caves, beaches, an active volcano, an abandoned ship, etc.
GSC and HGSS are literally nothing but small, grassy routes, small brown caves, and one small area hecking comfy Japanese tower town. Doesn't even have its own Victory Road, lmfao. It's by far the most bland region they did.
