I usually revist Kanto and Johto the most. Most Hoenn revisits tend to be hacks/mods because they're the most flexible for that. As much as I love the older games, Masuda's game design is too frustrating most often to really enjoy replays. While Platinum actually patches a lot of the issues with Sinnoh, it still takes a while to start getting into the "good" part of the game. And post-XY games were clearly never meant to be replayed so I end up just replaying the oldest games the most. Gen I in particular feels the most flexible and one time I even decided to take on Koga third
>>57931946At least someone feels my issues with FRLG. The Sevii Islands being really horrible map design doesn't help. They're so cumbersome and frustrating to travel through compared to mainline regions, I genuinely don't know what happened there. Especially since he ended up making an even worse remake later
