There would be several warring factions: the Galarian pilgrims, the Nueva Paldea army to the south, the people of Kanto landing in the west, and the native people in different tribes. Not to mention the bandits, who would be a combination of everything.
Obviously it is a fictional version full of anachronisms and historical inaccuracies, for example an Aztec pyramid where they worship a Koraidon that appeared there, due to reasons, using the people of Kanto as builders of the railways because there is no Chinese region.
The point is that we will be at the beginning of the conflict and how human ambition ruined the region.
