This is probably the most valid point of the thread and i do not know how to respond to this one. Only thing i would say is that psychics use mental abilities to see the future but celebi is different as it actually physically travels through it. There is many literature online that correlates fairies with time dilation. Time dilation seems like a more fitting representation especially if you watched the suicune and celebi movie

Because future sight is about predicting. Prediction is what someone THINKS will happen. Key word. Thinks. Thinking is a mental aspect. Celebi does not predict the future. It flows through and dilates it. Thats why it doesn’t learn the move future sight
