If Gamefreak is tired of making Pokemon then why don't they do a Call of Duty and have other developers make a generation or 2. Its' past obvious they don't care about quality anymore, the other developer could make either gold or greese at this point and it will still sell several millions.

Datable gym leaders, rivals, villain team leaders, elite 4, and champion.

Let them follow you and engage in team battles. You can trade pokemon and and increase their affection with items of specific pokemon you can trade with them. They can even get their own quest line. You can also breed pokemon with them.

Also datable pokemon.
