>>57962810>>57962829Since you cannot play Crystal on the GB, only on the GBC+, it counts as a proper new system
Meanwhile intl. Yellow, Gold and Silver were "Super Gameboy" games, i.e. regular Game Boy games, but with additional features if played on newer hardware (GBC+, SNES + cartridge Adapter).
The "DSi games" fall into the same category: Generally they are just NDS games, but have additional features if played on an NDSi or 3DS, and thus are not their own category.
RGBYGS: Game Boy
Crystal: GBC
RSEFRLG: GBA
DPPtHGSSBWB2W2: NDS
XYORASSMUSUM: 3DS
LGPESSLASV: Switch
Following that logic, a split by system would be weird, as you would end up with the following:
Gen 1 + GS
Just Crystal
Gen 3
Gen 4/5
Gen 6/7 (sans LGPE)
LGPE + Gen 8/9
While the last 3 categories more or less fit, it doesnt really fit for the first 3 categories.
