>>57979407>So, what determines whether a goon thread is high effort or not?Resources, OC, that sort of thing. By definition current Hex Maniac threads are comparitively low effort. On the other hand the brief period where the Pokeyume thread existed caused enough interest to spawn a booru and a couple other bits of content and might have had more had it actually survived the Terraleak hype season.
>Stay focused anon.If the major complaint is coomer threads are bad because of the lack of quality or content, then we have to compare it to the rest of the board to get a baseline on what the content of the board actually is. Drawthreads and other OC threads and generals based on various content in the games are fairly high quality and consistent, plus the occasional good random topic are solid, but it's very often the case that just random shit is some degree of garbage. This includes many coomer threads by the way, like the Hex Maniac thread is usually a litmus test that most threads do not pass because Hex threads are like the white bread of coomer threads, no nutrition and extremely basic with occasional good things on it, compared to so many others being actively shit.
>>57979529I never said quality in my original post (in fact your post is the first mention of quality in the thread), but after deciphering your high school level post I'd like to correct you. I do not generally visit coomer threads, I largely ignore them. However, by actively making new content they are by definition more high effort. To phrase it another way, I make high quality posts by making well thought out arguments backed by reality. Your post there is an example of a low quality post, as you give up on general grammar and instead insult me based on extremely small amounts of evidence.
