wtf was nintendo thinking? Like what was the point of this game other than a quick cashgrab? Like you couldn't add new areas, or make it like BW2 where it's 2 years in the future and there is a slightly different layout? They had 3d models for the trainers and should have used those in the overworld instead of those shitty chibi models (obviously they'd have to make the overworld look different, i'm not suggesting they just slap the 3d models into the current looking overworld). Or they should have done like a hd2d style like how square enix is doing.

Only positive thing I can say about these games is the music. That's it. Otherwise it was so safe of a remake that it's painful. When it comes to the games its like tpci is allergic to putting in effort

Nintendo were thinking what Game Freak were thinking "Brilliant, 8-figure sales total without having to do a TAP of work towards it" along with "Fantastic, Switch sales from here to February, due to TWO pokémon game releases in 3 months!".

Also, >>57988144, the music?! Really?? Before they patched it, the majority of the music was MIDI placeholder shit (which means its the default on any cartridge sold still). Even after the patch, it was passable, none of it was worth keeping. Though, that might be because Masters' music is so fucking good that it eclipses a lot of the main music.

1. why are you on the pokemon board if this is a "kiddy series". Shouldn't you be doing your taxes or with your family mr adult? and 2. wtf is this mindset? We aren't allowed to criticize a video game because it's intended audience is children? So what are we allowed to criticize? Are we just supposed to stop enjoying things the second we turn 18 and only exclusively enjoy and criticize "adult" things? Such a braindead mindset. And I never required that they tailor make a game for me and add everything I want. The point here >>57988144 that I was trying to make was that they really didn't try or do anything new. They did the bare and absolute minimum for this game which is unacceptable for a 60 dollar game. I'm sorry for wanting a good product that has effort and creative ideas put into it. Sorry for not just shutting up and accepting (and i truly do hate using this word) slop that Pokemon keeps churning out.
