i'd put chandelure in that spot (and i say that as someone who really likes that line)
it tends to be one of the more represented mons from the gen in merch but doesn't really get shoved into things the way LUCARIOOOO or CHARIZAAAAARD do. they bring it out for halloween then goes back to being a simple fan favorite

I wouldn't really consider Chandelure a shillmon, not because it isn't marketed or doesn't deserve it but because it was clearly never intended to be one. They're just taking advantage of something that got popular beyond their control.

Thats what the term was supposed to mean, but Pokefags, especially /vp/edos, throw a tantrum whenever Game Freak/TPC is criticized in any way and started intentionally misappropriating the term.
