Day 49
I traveled to the desert north of Castelia City to train and caught a Sandile along the way. After some prep, I returned to Castelia to face Gym Leader Burgh. Roggenrola opened strong, using Rock Blast to defeat Venipede. Pidove followed, landing a single Air Cutter to knock out Leavanny. Dewott wrapped things up by taking down Dwebble with Razor Shell. Right after the battle, Pidove evolved into Tranquil.
Leaving the city behind, I returned to the desert. Sadly, I lost Pansear to my rival’s Servine. Pansear survived a brutal Leaf Storm, only to be finished off by the sandstorm. Tranquil avenged its fallen teammate. I moved on to the Desert Resort and caught a fiery Darumaka, then headed into the Relic Castle where I caught a ghostly Yamask.
Misfortune struck again when Roggenrola was taken down by a trainer’s Sigilyph. Tranquil barely survived the same fight. Afterward, I received a Cover Fossil and took it back to the Nacrene Museum, where it was revived into a sturdy Tirtouga.
With my team shaken but still standing, I continued my journey and arrived in the bright and busy Nimbasa City, ready for the next chapter.
