As a rule of thumb, don't preorder singles/buy singles on or near release, the prices will eventually stabilize and go down usually
His main point was to prioritize buying sealed, but if buying singles get them for a reasonable price and don't give scalpers money
What he was wrong about was the speed at which evolving skies went up after it went out of print
The truth that people want to ignore is that ALL sealed product eventually goes up in price, just usually takes 5-10 years before it's meaningful
That we're in a scalper market with manipulation going on right now and things go up then down so fast isn't normal and couldn't be predicted
