Pokeballs cost 2 bucks, Great Balls are 6, and Ultra Balls are 12. I'm assuming this is because each of them use higher quality parts than the last, and the catch rate reflects that (normally, let's not consider glitches or critical catches). We also have another premium Pokeball example with Luxury Balls costing 10 bucks with an extremely low catch rate, but going up to 30 bucks due to inflation in recent years. Given how the Master Ball basically always works, it must be made of incredibly high quality materials, which should drive up the costs dramatically. So they can manufacture them but it's probably a limited run item. Great for prizes in lotteries that mathematically nobody will win, solid for some evil team to fucking steal or big business to have one lying around, but not something your average consumer can afford. It's not just the luxury car of Pokeballs, it's the custom built luxury car of Pokeballs. Of course bikes apparently cost 10k so who the fuck knows how much it would actually be or if my logic is remotely sound.
