As discussed in some previous threads, the main obstacle would be finding something good enough for a succession game, with the general criteria being

Ideally the game should be something that'd immediately get lurker attention if they saw it on the catalog. >The difficulty needs enough breathing room for any self imposed challenges or general champ-switching shenanigans, without being a braindead easy "mash spacebar to win" game >And preferably not something already played a gajillion times (so not the reborn trilogy) I'll let you guys nominate games you think have potential in the meantime
Failing that we could probably go back to the classic "/board/ plays" format used on other boards and used here by me/Nigger/Wagie where one person runs a game and everyone else makes decisions for just about anything that'd matter without slowing things to a crawl

a character you're gonna meet in this chapter will eventually be implied to want to own and use firearms, for exactly 1 cutscene before that potentially interesting character detail is completely memory holed again

let me remind you of one of the few consistent things in this game:

The amount of times good guys use pokemon to solve problems in this kusoge can be counted on one hand, and in some tumblr q&a response I'm not searching for but I assure you was actually posted by Jan himself, the creator of the game outright stated that pokemon are not important to Rejuvenation's story and you could replace them with some other monster catching franchise or entirely remove mons in general and the story would be virtually unchanged. now from that description alone you might already be wondering what the fuck is the point, in which case you're probably a n00b who isn't aware that there's a reason beyond shitcode that this game's development takes forever
hint: it's patreon as for gameplay differences or lack thereof, both are just hallways full of nothingburger cutscene spam that doesn't progress the plot

There'll be some pretty much abandoned shadow mon raid dens on route 4 but you'll never see that feature anywhere else

both of their daughters use flying types to some degree
saying that because Jan forgets that Aelita is supposed to use flying types sometime in the terajuma arc
Also because she's not allowed to have anything good, she doesn't get a pseudo legendary that matters (and you WILL ignore how incredibly obvious it'd be to fix that and reference other aspects of her character and also make shadow mons plot relevant and make the player's existence meaningful by giving her a dragapult that she raised from a shadow dreepy she finds in that xen base and asks the player to snag for her, because that would integrate gameplay and multiple story threads while giving her an actually cool and strong pokemon)
