Greetings fellow Pokěmonsters, I have played the following pokemon games in this order starting on these years:
2006: pokemon red, blue and yellow
2006: pokemon silver
2007: pokemon diamond
2011: pokemon white
2011: pokemon heart gold

As you can see, I have missed out Hoenn because I was late to the party when 9 year old me bought a second hand Gameboy Color with Pokemon Red at Game Station for £10, and then the other gen 1 pokemon games for £2.50 each at Cash Converters.
If I was to start playing Hoenn, should I play it on my Game Boy Advance with my GBA Everdrive or should I play the remake on my 3DS? Which is the definitive Hoenn experience?
