I think every real Poke fan does by now. Even the most autistic of goyslop guzzlers stopped arguing after seeing screenshots of other Switch jrpgs.

Hell Im playing it now mainly because I had an itch to play competitive with friends and everything about SV is just bad. At least my favorite Pokemon got buffed tho.

The three questlines is a nice touch but its nothing new that the rest of the industry hasnt done. If you want to try reducing my post to absurdist nonsense about graphics dont forget the games non-existent artstyle, garbage soundtracks, garbage performance that took an entire console generation to fix, and lazy dexcuts followed by one excuse after another why the game looked and played like rancid ass.

8 and 9, yeah. Both games are complete ass for a huge variety of reasons.
Currently replaying Ultra Moon, it's not the best game but it's got heart. Playing it with zero Z-moves helps balance the game better.
The only good part of 9 is how much I wanna stick my dick in Meowscarada.

Yeah, 8/9 strike me as weird but I'm also generally in the camp that Pokemon should have stayed 2D so I'm implicitly biased against the move to 3D.
I do think Sw/Sh having a giant area full of lots of pokemon is a great idea though and they should keep that going.
Being able to access a large number of pokemon early on makes the games that much better.

Piers didn't even have any dialogue to even suggest a song for some godforsaken reason. So the Rhyme example at least put effort in to be cringe, rather than looking completely unfinished. Hell, a lot of what I have to say about SV comes down to "I fucking hate it, but on it's own terms because at least it's trying" rather than SS where it's "I fucking hate it because it's a bad low effort version of better games I've already played, some of which I also didn't even like". In other words SV is a bad open world game because it's open, world, and a game, while SS is just a dogshit JRPG which after 7 previous times you think they would have an idea what they're doing but nope.
