Wobbuffet and akane is perfect and out there enough I assume that was personally chosen, and the hero academia writer talked about him and oda trading pokemon in GO and even snuck a rayquaza that oda traded him in the background of a page, so I have trouble believing oda personally chose pikachu and not one of the monkey mons or something.
