They never were. Unova too much of an embarrassment to remake and now that Masuda has been relegated to a cameo in Pokemon Presents they can skip his Fagnum Copus edgeshit games for some actual good remake/legends contemt.

BW remake but they bring up the Dream World as an external phone for less than 2 years and don’t add a champion ribbon and it carries over the grotesque MySims graphics from BD/SP. I’d kill myself

they've stated in the past that if they returned to Unova they would rather do a BW3 than a remake, but that was a long time ago so who knows what they're thinking now

And given "year two" of new Gens are now occupied by DLC content releases in place of rehash versions, it'll be 2028 before a Gen 5 remake will happen.

Nah, they're not skipping shit when it's easy money from the fanbase. Mind, hoennbabs brought us here. They weren't planning a Gen 3 remake until they saw the internet noise alerting them to the prospect of easy money. Dunno why you think no BW remake's a possibility, there's already kids your age screaming for them on the internet.
