I think BATTLING is getting old, why haven't they made a game where you just co-exist with your lead Pokemon and go on adventures.
It would also solve the problem of Pokemon being over or under-tuned.

They did, there's like 12 mandatory battles in SV you can literally ignore every single trainer on every route and get XP just by walking around catching shitmons and having picnics. And I imagine Gen 10 is going to be even worse, GF clearly wants to move away from battles and just make immersive sims where you walk around with your dog and I hate it.

Why don't they just make Harvest Moon/Rune Factory/Started Valley... but Pokémon.

I don't even think it has to be an Animal Crossing clone, just any Pokemon game where you have a lead Pokemon that is your buddy, Ash and Pikachu-esque and where you just have an adventure that's not "I want to battle ALL the time",
like if you pick a water Pokemon, you can fish and if you pick a poison pokemon you can rummage through the trash, and then trade and make an economy through that.
I want to be able to play a Pokemon game and be able to interact with Pokemon in a way that's not restricted to "here's a bouncy ball" or, "I have a camera",
I'm talking like every stage 1 or 2 pokemon has a different demeanor depending on their nature.

yeah I feel like a large part of this is just that the world feels less immersive because you'll talk with any NPC that's not an aspirational trainer and they'll just talk about type-matching in a fight or something and you are wondering why a green grocer would ever say that or why those groceries don't even exist in the world anyway

I don't know, Amarys,
It's like when they did the 3D modelling they did their best to make her as plain as possible when you can tell the steely-faced anime design on paper that they had made her way cuter. I felt like I was playing a cucked European version of the game and I would be astonished if they had that released in Japan.
She's supposed to be this vaugely autistic steel-type gym trainer, who is tall and exotic but instead she's just "that girl riding the bus" built like a fridge.
I feel like the fan-artists work so hard to get rid of Pokemon/GameFreak whatever's terrible choices that we forget that that's how they appeared in the game. I mean the drop off in style since Sun/Moon has been wild.

No, I think her design is memorable, great even and on paper she looks cute, but in the game she looks nothing like this, also her tits definitely aren't that big in the game, you see the light bouncing off of her jacket where it implies large breasts, but you can tell they've un-designed her. She's supposed to be a calculating pragmatist with a growth spurt or something and yet her expressions bounce between extremely fragile and just blank.
I mean what Pokegirls didn't they botch? Carmine, Nemona, Ms. Briar.. they botched a lot of them. That's why I think saying there are no ugly pokegirls is not entirely true.
