>>58084173I'd say, ground, grass, water, and bug are fairly convincing Regi designs (Bug looks legitimately good), the rest are either too detailed or too abstract with their element. Or both.
While I like both Eleki and Drago, they've definitely opened the door to the idea of Regis being not exactly purely elemental, but "golem" like containers for elements, which is a great idea but many seem to not do it right.
Then again, Steel and Gigas where fairly abstract, too; Registeel could've been pure liquid mercury or blocks of metal, but instead is basically a robot, and Regigigas is.... just some giant thing.
