-PWT/World Championship: Ton of fun, I'm not gonna act like I took the time to fully EV train or IV breed up a perfect team, but my core of Excadrill/TTar/Hydreigon/Amoonguss ran shop. Once in a while I'd run into a rotation that'd really fuck my shit up (usually a Water and Grass team in the same rotation) but I just powered through and it all worked out. Way more forgiving than other facilities in return for a bit more difficulty in the individual battles. Worth mentioning I did the game on challenge mode but that's something of a meme if you're familiar with BW2.
-Get both Entree levels to 30+: This shit was actually really annoying, I finished the Pokedex before resolving to get Entree done. Again, hourwise it wasn't that bad, but if I wanted to hit the double point bonus every time to get it done asap, it was a ton of rapid-button pressing on two 3DS simultaneously, I broke it down into 30min intervals at max, felt like I was accelerating my odds of carpal tunnel by playing it efficiently. It's a really random thing to make worthy of a trainer star considering how the game never pushes you to check out Entralink, but I'll just be thankful it wasn't a Battle Subway star.
10/10 would play again, thank you for reading my blog. For anyone curious the teams were:
Main story: Excadrill, Emolga, Jellicent, Roserade, Heracross, Darmanitan
Postgame: Metagross, Rotom-Heat, Seismitoad, Hydreigon, Toxicroak and HA Amoonguss.
Bonus PWT member: Tyranitar so I could build around sand. Amoonguss Excadrill ended up being MVPs letting me get to 3x Swords Dance in the sand via Rage Powders to Rock Slide Wallace down, a single hit would've dealt with 'drill, felt amazing.
